Information for YFU Partners

The aim of the program is to introduce and give the students the opportunity to experience the nature of Estonia. Since it would be quite difficult to take part in biology and geography classes in a foreign language, the program focuses on field trips during the exchange year.  YFU Estonia provides several outdoor activities carried out by both trained YFU volunteers and professionals. Like with every other program, YFU Estonia acknowledges that it is most important for the exchange student to spend enough time with the host family and friends. However, there are lots of activities, usually once a month, during the 8 months of the exchange year. In addition to all the field trips, the orientations regarding the Basic Standards of YFU during the year will also be carried out outdoors.

If you have potential applicants who are interested in entering the Nature Program in Estonia, please inform us so that we could provide you with the following:
 

• CD with detailed information and illustrative material about the program
• Printed information package
• Promotional package that includes tea, honey and brochures of the Estonian nature
