Detailed Program
This is a specialized one-year program aimed for those young people who are interested in nature and the environment. It is not just about the field trips that we offer during the exchange year - it also introduces a whole concept about nature and the environment that we have combined with the classical program content.
The aim of the program is to introduce and give students the opportunity to experience the nature of Estonia. Since it would be quite difficult to take part in biology and geography classes in a foreign language, the program focuses more on field trips during the exchange year.
If you participate in the Nature Program, you will attend a normal high school while participating in many excursions and field trips organized by YFU throughout the year.
Everything described above is available to our exchange students coming to Estonia through the Nature Program. If you like to be outside in a natural environment, want to learn about the Estonian nature as well as other topics, such as environmental problems, you should participate in our Nature Program.
